Under this model the customers get a fixed quote from us to develop a specified system within a specific time. Normally customers are skittish about fixed-cost because the model is supposed to be difficult to actually implement. The most common afflictions of fixed-cost model are:

* How do you estimate what the fixed-cost will be?
* How does the Customer know what he is going to get?
* How does the vendor control the time element?
